#SerbiaCashless Forum

Forum is an opportunity for different stakeholders to come together and discuss the cashless issues that are top of mind. The first event of its kind in South East Europe will bring together over 200 people: government representatives, regulators, top industry experts, executives from banks, and an array of industries, especially in the payment and ICT business, finance and media. One-day event hosted by Visa will be organized in the Hotel Metropol Palace Belgrade.

Objectives

Visa goal is to create an open dialogue on the importance and impact of cashless economy and explore the role of innovations in extending and expanding the reach of the electronic payments on the regional and country level.

Forum brings first-hand information and experience from public and private sectors, and investigates how financial literacy, policies, trends and emerging technologies are impacting Serbian financial services ecosystem. It also discovers case studies on cashless and digital financial services, and shows how (does) next generation of banking and mobile products and solutions affect and change our everyday life.

#SerbiaCashless Forum aims:

  • To map out Serbia’s rate of progress towards cashless economy
  • To identify challenges of cashless economy and ways to turn them into greater opportunities for all parties involved
