October 5th, 2017, Belgrade ‒ Visa announces its first Cashless Forum in South East Europe to be held on October 25th, 2017 in Hotel Metropol Palace Belgrade. The first event of its kind in our market will bring together government representatives, regulators, top industry experts from Serbia and abroad, executives from banks, and an array of industries, especially in the payment and Information and Communication Technology business, finance and media to discuss hot cashless topics concerning Serbian sustainable economic growth and future development.
Organized in partnership with the 17th Serbian Economic Summit, #SerbiaCashless Forum aims to map out Serbia’s rate of progress towards cashless economy, to showcase the importance of financial literacy, identify challenges of digitalization and suggest the ways to turn them into greater opportunities for all parties involved.
During seven panels, presentations and key note speeches more than 20 domestic and international speakers will share their experience, visions and advices on cashless topics, discuss the impact of disruptive technologies on financial services, while all guests at Visa innovation lab will have a chance to learn more about innovative payment technologies.
At the very beginning of the #SerbiaCashless Forum, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and Visa will officially announce the beginning of financial literacy program “FinPis” and launch the special web site, online game and present the campaign promotional video.

The main theme of this year Serbian Economic Summit that will be held on October 23-24th is „The Road Map to Improve Competitiveness” and main Summit areas will perfectly prepare the agenda for discussion about cashless economy on October 25th.
