Executive Board Member, Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Born in Hannover/Germany in 1970, Aleksandar Medjedovic has been working in the fields ofbusiness development, event management, business media, investment/export promotion and training/teaching for the last 25 years. His work experience includes sales, regional development and management positions in Switzerland, France, Germany, the USA, Singapore and Turkey. In the last few years, Aleksandar worked onmarket entry and investment projects in Germany and Turkey, in Iran and in other Gulf Countries, in Singapore and other parts of Asia, in Mexico and other Latin American places, and in Slovakia, Romania and other European countries Southeast of Vienna. Those projects currently venture into the ICT, automotive manufacturing, agriculture, textile, digitalization and education fields.
Aleksandar also covers the ‘zone’ where the public and private sectors overlap:he serves on the Executive Board of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin/Germany and as a Chairman of the Turkish-Serbian Business Council at DEIK, the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey. In the same organization he also serves for Croatian, German, Montenegrin, Mexican and Peruvian issues, shaping economic relations between Turkey and those countries. Aleksandar has university education in Economics and Political Science and he speaks 10 languages, allowing a better understanding of issues and journeys. He is a regular contributor to media outlets throughout Europe and the Middle East and resides in Istanbul/Turkey and in Berlin/Germany.
